The mission of STANDUP FOR KIDS is to help homeless and street kids. Volunteers go to the streets in order to find, stabilize and otherwise help homeless and street kids improve their lives. Their focus also extends to deterrence and resource programs in schools and via the internet. All facets of their mission are guided by the mandate that volunteers should tell kids they care about them and then, at every point, prove it
