About the event
Aid agencies around the world have launched emergency appeals for Haiti after a major earthquake struck the country.

Virgin America teammates initiated a fundraising drive with Virgin Unite and with the Virgin America Company match has now raised 50k in a few short days. We've now expanded the Virgin America effort to other Virgin companies -- and the tally continues to grow. Thanks to the generosity, compassion and kindness of Virgin America teammates -- and now Virgin employees worldwide.

(Virgin Unite’s overheads are covered by Sir Richard Branson and the Virgin Group, meaning that 100% of additional donations received, go direct to the frontline where they are needed most.)
