A number of entrepreneurs have recently donated their time to mentor aspiring entrepreneurs at the Branson School of Entrepreneurship. Their generous contribution demonstrates how business can be a 'force for good'!

In March, Australian entrepreneurs Jack and Sheena Hayden and Creel Price conducted fantastic sessions at the School, providing an opportunity for our aspiring entrepreneurs to pitch their businesses and receive valuable feedback.

Business Mavericks!

Meanwhile, Maverick Business Adventures, led by entrepreneurs Yanik Silver and Tim Warren, recently offered a ‘virtual visit’, sending a set of motivational lectures on video which were screened at the School and received rave reviews.

The lectures covered topics including self belief and confidence, how fear of failure can hold you back, how to challenge conventional thinking and the value of being open to new ideas. Responses by the audience included:

“It was uplifting to know that others have done this before... [it gave me] a sense of self belief”
“It made me realise that I just need to get out and do it!”
“It showed me the importance of a positive mindset”
“I don’t need a 100% solution before I start”
“This weekend I am going to register my business”

Virgin Unite is very grateful to to all for their amazing dedication and enthusiasm! They are making an incredible difference to aspiring entrepreneurs in South Africa.
