Virgin Unite

24 Jun 2009 Virgin Unite

Making it happen.

The largest fundraising event in the world becomes the Virgin London Marathon in 2010.

To celebrate, Virgin Unite has launched Mission:Possible – a campaign for Virgin staff across the UK to raise £2.5 million to create opportunities for young people.

You don’t have to run to take part! There are loads of ways that staff can get involved, have some fun and raise money to help kids who really need it.

Where the money goes

All funds raised by the Virgin group will provide support and opportunities for young people by working in partnership with inspiring frontline partners including:

Foyer
Kids Company
Rathbone
Youth at Risk

Mission:Possible will include four key fundraising campaigns:

‘My Mission’ – Staff will be invited to select their own personal fundraising activity, anything from knitting to sitting in a bath of jelly!

‘Virgin's Got Talent’ – Staff will be encouraged to sing, dance or play an instrument. The best will compete in a grand final.

‘Face Your Fears’ – Staff will be sponsored to face their worst fears.

‘Mission Final’ – As a group Virgin will set and break a record for charity. All staff will be invited to get involved in this record breaking attempt.

The race is on.

Together we can transform the lives of thousands of young people. Get involved, make the Mission:Possible!
