If you are one of the ten volunteers chosen for this life changing experience, we are looking for you to raise a minimum of £2,000 through your own fundraising, donation or sponsorship. All money raised will go directly to funding this project, so the school is the sole beneficiary of all fundraising.
To be eligible, apply giving your reasons why you should be one of the ten volunteers. You may have specialist skills or decorating and DIY skills, or simply want to help the children of the Masai Mara community. Apart from a dedication to help, we are looking for fit and healthy people as the work will be physically demanding and volunteers must be prepared to do a full day’s hard work.
Flights will depart for Nairobi in April 2008, and volunteers must be able to take a week out of their diary.
Application letters of 100 words including why you should be chosen and the skills you can bring should be sent to ifly.inbox@fly.virgin.com by 15 February 2008. Judges’ decision is final in selecting the ten volunteers, as unfortunately we can’t accommodate everyone that applies given the physical, technical and time demands of this project.

• The Closing date for entries is 15 Feb 2008.
• Entries are restricted to one per person.
• You must be a Flying Club member to take part in this project.
• The attendees will be specially chosen and the judge's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. Receipt of entries will not be acknowledged.
• Attendees will require to pledge a minimum of £2000 to take part in the project. By 31 March 08
• All money pledged/donated/raised will go directly towards the project and will not be used for anything else.
• No purchase necessary.
• The prize is non transferable and no cash alternative is available.
• Chosen attendees will be notified and will be given further details regarding the project.
• In the event of the project being cancelled or postponed, every effort will be taken to provide as much notice as possible. In the event of cancellation, Virgin Atlantic will not be responsible for any donations already made before notification.
