Virgin Mobile Canada’s RE*Generation movement to rock the opera house

The Remix Project is an arts, cultural and life skills incubator serving young people across the GTA but is located right in the heart of Toronto. Through its 6-month program, Remix works to help some of the most gifted but vulnerable young people in the city realize their own creative and business-minded potential while working to strengthen Toronto’s burgeoning creative industry.

Virgin Mobile Canada, in partnership with Samsung, is launching the Limited Edition RE*Generation Samsung Link phone in May, 2010. Ten dollars from each sale of the 20,000 phones available will be donated directly to the RE*Generation Program on behalf of Virgin Mobile Canada and Samsung. Limited quantities of the RE*Generation Samsung Link phone are available for $69.99 from The Source and Virgin Mobile Stores from the beginning of May.

In early 2008, Virgin Mobile Canada and Virgin Unite, the non-profit foundation of the Virgin group of companies, joined together to create the RE*Generation movement and empower a generation to help its own. We're bringing together organizations that care about Canada's homeless and at-risk youth and we're connecting them with people who want to help. RE*Generation is a movement to support solutions to youth homelessness and support at-risk youth programs in Canada. To date, over $500,000 has been raised and dispersed to leading youth serving agencies across the country.
