Pride and Purpose went green CRAZY during the Arbour month of September.
Their target was to plant 400 trees but they reached 642 – Yep, 642, that was not a typo!! A great, great success!! Pride and Purpose managed to raise funds and planted 321 trees throughout the month they planted 178 trees with guests from Ulusaba, then on Friday, 25th September, they planted a whopping 143 in one day!!!
Great fun was had by all and we cannot wait to see what Dumphries village will look like in 3 years time – a very big fruit salad!!
In addition, they have done a year long Permaculture food garden project in two schools and a one day Permaculture food garden at a new crèche, in partnership with Food and Trees for Africa.
